Taking a cheap stab at what is clearly his "genre" seems like crapping where you sleep.ĮDIT: This is another quote that came up in the discussion section that I'm adding because it completely blew me away. I agree that good story telling (regardless of genre) have common aspects (romance, history, adventure, mystery and philosophy), but I feel he would have been much better off stopping there. It's either about magic or a world-building. They have elements of romance, history, adventure, mystery and philosophy. I write stories that have important human themes. I was reading through one of the threads and someone posted this quote by Terry Goodkind:
